In the rainy month of August, I looked at the list of schools which invited me for author sessions. I was visiting India for a while and this was a sparkling opportunity to meet local school kids in Delhi. I tried to think of bright ways to best capture the attention of 4 to 9 year olds in different sessions, different schools, different settings, but always with the same intention. The intention being, enjoying an interactive storytelling session, learning something new and creating something fun together.
I was bowled over by the love, inquestiveness, interest and level of participation from all the kids I interacted with. One of the most memorable session was actually with the oldest kids of grade 3. Their stories and ideas shared during the creative writing workshop popped like delicious corn, bursting with hot, fluffy energy!
